Since opening we have had a fantastic range of exhibitions here at No57, including the work of sculptors, painters, illustrators, jewelers, quilters, carpenters and print makers.

Past exhibitors include Michael Brown, Lucy McGeown, Fred Vernon, Johanne Lester, Terresita Dennis, Pat Lunch, Phil Bradshaw, Bunny De Sade, Rachael South, Katie New, Chrissy Silver and Joe Mason among others.

As well as inviting artists to exhibit we also encourage artists to hire the space for events and exhibitions

Hire Information:
The gallery space was previously a chemist's shop, and therefore still holds some of the original features such as the wood paneled walls and an old fire place.
The total floor space is 36sq meters with walls at the height of 3.40 meters
It has both adjustable spot lighting and static pendant lighting, electrical points, free wi-fi and heating.
There is toilet in the back space and tea/coffee making facilities
We cannot be responsible for the insurance of the work, so if this would be a concern for you then we suggest taking out your own insurance for the duration of the exhibition.
We do not have a permanent licence to sell alcohol but we can apply for a temporary licence on behalf of you, this cost £23, or there is the alternative of us running the bar.

The cost for use of the space starts at  £100 per day for exhibitions and events. We do operate some discretion with this charge depending on length of hire and for community events or similar.
